Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the New File Dialog Box

Use the fields and options to configure the New File dialog box.

Field Description
File Type

Use this field to select one of the following file types:

  • Project
  • Calendar
  • Resource
  • Code
  • Project Template
Name

Use this field to enter the name of the new file.

Description

Use this field to enter a brief description of the new file.

Use previous settings as defaults

This field is enabled when you select Project or Resource in the File Type field.

Select this option if you want Open Plan to use the last settings you specified in the New File Wizard as your default setting for the new file you are creating.

Next

Click to open the New File Wizard.

Finish

Click to create the file with the default values. To edit the values, click Next instead.

Cancel

Click to close the dialog box without making any changes.

Help

Click to display the dialog box help topic.
