Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Fields Dialog Box

Use the fields and options to configure the Fields dialog box.

Field Description
Table

This box lists the Open Plan data tables.

Field

This box displays the fields in the selected table.

For example, if you select Activity in the Table box, the Field box displays a list of all the fields in the Activity table, including previously defined filters and calculated fields.

Note: Some field names are followed by a chevron symbol (chevronw.gif). These fields are used as a link to other data tables.

When you select a field and click OK, Open Plan displays the actual field name in the Expression Builder box of the previous dialog box. For example, if you access the Filters dialog box from the Filter Expression dialog box and then you select Early Start from the Activity table, when you click OK to close the Filter dialog box, Open Plan enters ESDATE into the Expression Builder box of the Filter Expression dialog box.

Click this button to apply the changes and close the dialog box.

Cancel

Click this button to close the dialog box without making any changes.

Click this button to display the dialog box help topic.
