Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Customize Columns Dialog Box

Use the fields and options to configure the Customize Columns dialog box.

Field Description
Available fields

This box displays the available fields that you can add as columns to the Contents pane.

Display these fields

This box includes the fields that currently display as columns in the Contents pane. The order of the fields in this box is the order in which they display in the Contents pane.

Use the Up/Down arrows to reorder the fields.

OK

Click to apply the changes and close the dialog box.

Heading

Select a field from the Display these fields list and click Heading to display the Change Column Heading dialog box where you can enter a new column name.  

Cancel

Click to close the dialog box without making any changes.

Help

Click to display the dialog box help topic.
