  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Configure Activity Fields Dialog Box

Use the fields and options to configure the Configure Activity Fields dialog box.

Field Description
Task Subtype

This is an optional field. Select a code field or user text field that indicates if an activity is a schedule visibility task, schedule margin task, risk mitigation task, or contract milestone. The selected field must contain one of the following values:

  • RISK_MITIGATION_TASK, Risk Mitigation Task, RMT
  • SCHEDULE_VISIBILITY_TASK, Schedule Visibility Task, SVT
  • SCHEDULE_MARGIN, Schedule Margin, Schedule Margin Task, SMT
  • CONTRACTUAL_MILESTONE, Contractual Milestone, CMT
Task Planning Level

This is a mandatory field. Select a code field or user text field that indicates if an activity is a summary level planning package, control account, planning package, work package, or activity. If this field is blank or has an invalid value, the export will fail. The selected field must contain one of the following values:

  • SUMMARY_LEVL_PLANNING_PACKAGE, SLPP
  • CONTROL_ACCOUNT, CA
  • PLANNING_PACKAGE, PP
  • WORK_PACKAGE, WP
  • ACTIVITY, ACT
WBS Id

This is an optional field; however, if your selection for Control Account ID is WBS + OBS, you must select a WBS ID. The list includes user text and code fields.

OBS Id

This is an optional field; however, if your selection for Control Account ID is WBS + OBS, you must select an OBS ID. The list includes user text and code fields.

Control Account Id

This is an optional field. The list includes text fields, code fields, and standard text fields. If you select WBS + OBS, you must select a WBS ID and an OBS ID. If the WBS ID field and/or OBS ID field is invalid or blank, a non-fatal error message is added to the log file.

Work Package Id

This is an optional field; however, if you select a Work Package ID, you must also select a Control Account ID, WBS ID, and OBS ID, otherwise the export will fail. The list includes user text fields, code fields, and activity ID fields.  

Integrated Master Plan Id

This is an optional field. The list includes text and code fields.

SOW Reference

This is an optional field. The list includes text and code fields.

Subcontractor Reference / Id

This is an optional field. The list includes text and code fields.

Earned Value Technique

This is an optional field. However, if you leave this blank, this field defaults to the EVT field value on the Open Plan Activity table.

Critical Path Field

This is a mandatory field. The list includes numeric user-defined fields (with a value of 0 or 1), text user-defined fields (with a value of True, 1, 0, or False), and filters. By default, it displays Critical Flag.

Note: It also accepts the following values: Critical, Not Critical, Controlling Critical, and Most Critical. Only Most Critical can set the property to True.
Driving Path Field

This is an optional field. The list includes numeric user-defined fields (with a value of 0 or 1), text user-defined fields (with a value of True, 1, 0, or False), and filters. By default, it displays <None>.

Buttons

The table below provides information about the buttons in this dialog box.

Button Description
OK Click to save your changes and close the dialog box.
Cancel Click to close the dialog box without saving any changes.
Help Click to display the Open Plan Help topic.
