Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Add Symbol Dialog Box

Use this fields and options to configure the Add Symbol dialog box.

Field Description
Name

The filename for the custom symbol you wish to add.

Description

Additional information you wish to include about the symbol. The description appears next to the symbol name in the Symbols pane of the Symbols dialog box.

Shape Category

You can create a new shape category by entering a unique name in this field. Otherwise, entering an existing category name places the new symbol in that category.

Buttons

The table below provides information about the buttons in this dialog box.

Button Description
Select File Click this button to display an Open dialog box that you use to locate the Meta File (.wmf) or Enhanced Meta File (.emf) graphic file for the symbol. Selecting the file and then clicking Open places the filename in the Name field.
