A pay period calendar system enables you to easily set up pay periods.

Quick facts on pay period calendars:

• A calendar consists of calendar years with pay periods.
• Pay periods are used for calculating gross pay.
• Calendar years and pay periods can be of different sizes.
• Calendar years and pay periods cannot overlap each other or have gaps.

Attention: You cannot change calendar on a compensation model once a gross pay calculation is created for the specific model and calendar.
