This section includes updates to the Maconomy documentation suite in this release.

Key Features of Documentation for Maconomy 2.6.1

Maconomy 2.6.1 Documentation includes the following new and updated documentation:

• The Maconomy Information Center was introduced with 2.6, and several documents from the Maconomy suite are now available online. See Maconomy Information Center for details.
• Release Notes are now in online format for ease of use, and includes Touch, People Planner, and Web Client, and is available from the Maconomy Information Center.
  • Click relevant links for summary of features, software issues resolved, pre-installation information, database changes, and known issues.
  • 2.6.1 includes a list of properties renamed with the Coupling Service configuration restructure.
• Updated Enhancements Guide includes details of all the new features for Maconomy, including Touch, People Planner, and Web Client.
• Updated Web Client and Maconomy online help includes new features and field descriptions. Web Client also includes procedures.
• Updated Maconomy Product Support Guide includes important announcements.
• Updated System Admin Guide for ease of use and finding content. Additional updates include:
  • New Coupling Service Configuration and Excel Data File Support, and updates to Single Sign-On and Translation sections.
  • See the What's New table in the Deltek Maconomy System Admin Guide for more details.
• Updated BPM documents, including:
  • BPM Statutory Reporting Guide includes enhancements to the US 1099 MISC/NEC, SIE and other reports.
  • BPM Admin Guide provides the latest Pentaho installation files link, as well as changes to the Install section (BIAR to LCMBIAR format, Kettle.Properties setup).
• Updated Touch documents, including:
  • The App Release Notes is now available in the Maconomy Information Center only
  • The Touch Admin Guide was introduced in 2.6 as the new primary document for technical consultants. It streamlines Touch documentation and combines the previous Touch Installation, Upgrade, and Multitenancy Setup Guides.
  • The Touch Online Help was introduced in 2.6 and replaced Touch User Guides for Android and iOS in PDF. See New Online Guides for details.
• Updated the People Planner Integrations Guide and People Planner Web Components Guidewith new features.
• Updated the Web Client Install Guide with setup instructions for accessing the web Analyzer from the Workspace Client.
• Documents retired as of 2.6:
  • Concepts Guide - Now part of Online Concepts Guide.
  • PSO and CPA Solutions Guides - Now part of Online Concepts Guide
  • CRM and DTM Integrations Guides - Now part of Online Concepts Guide
  • Maconomy Reporting Guide - Moved to legacy documents; available upon request if needed.
  • Deltek Touch for Maconomy MScript & REST Comparison Guide - Moved to legacy documents; available upon request if needed.

Online Guide	Details
Online Concepts Guide	The new online document merges the former Concepts Guide with some user guides, including those for CRM and Talent Management integration and the PSO and CPA Solutions description guides. It also includes the Getting Started guide, which was formerly part of the online help embedded in the software.
Touch for Maconomy Online Help for Android Touch for Maconomy Online Help for iOS	The online guide replaces the Touch User Guides for Android or iOS in PDF, and is accessible from the app.
People Planner Web Components Guide for Web Client People Planner Web Components Guide for Workspace Client	This document is now published only as an online guide, with client-specific versions.
Maconomy Web Client Install Guide (previously the iAccess for Maconomy Install Guide)	The Install Guide is now available only as an online guide. Previously, this document was also released in PDF.
Maconomy Web Client Online Help (previously the iAccess for Maconomy Online Help)	This product-specific online help system is accessible from the app and is also available in PDF.
Maconomy Workspace Client Online Help (previously the Maconomy Online Help)	This product-specific online help is embedded in the software and is also available in PDF.
