Deadlock When Two Users Post General Journals

A deadlock is encountered when two users post General Journals on the same accounts at the exact same time.

Web Client

There are no known issues in this area for Maconomy 2.6.1.

Touch

Azure Authentication Error

Defect 1706302, Sev 2

If you used Azure to log in to Touch in an iOS mobile device and set up fingerprint/face recognition or PIN for subsequent logins, then swiped up to exit Touch, an error message will appear when you reopen the app and reauthenticate. As a workaround, log in with Azure credentials and do not swipe up to exit Touch.

BPM

Dutch Audit: DAF File Runs Despite Canceled Background Task

Defect 1812797, Sev. 3

When a Background Task is canceled, the DAF output file still attempts to generate and complete its contents. This can cause performance issues especially when run on a system with a large amount of data.

Incorrect Join to Supplement Table in Finance Universe

Defect 1768738, Sev. 3

In the Finance universe of BPM Reporting, the join between the Company Information table and the Supplement table is wrongly defined as an inner join. The result is that queries containing objects from the supplement folder will only return records for companies where a supplement has been set up in Maconomy. Companies for which no supplement has been set up will not be included in the result, and that is incorrect. The join must be changed to be an outer join to resolve this issue.

Workaround: When reporting on a company, make sure its supplement is set up.

People Planner

Workspace Client Crashes Using Big Sur and People Planner

Defect 1517258, Sev 2

There is an incompatibility between macOS Big Sur's embedded browser and People Planner embedded web parts in the Workspace Client that causes a system crash when navigating in the web parts. This issue applies to the Workspace Client on all Maconomy versions for users on macOS Big Sur. This issue is not something that Deltek can control, and prioritization of a fix from Apple is not something that we feel confident will be made. The Maconomy web client, MyPlan, and the legacy People Planner Windows Application are unaffected.

Workaround: Either use the Maconomy web client where the People Planner web parts are available, or customize the Workspace Client to make the People Planner web parts open in an external browser.

Blank Lines in Skill Requirements Dialog

Defect 1816603, Sev 3

An error can occur where all lines are blank when assigning resources in the skill requirements dialog. This error occurs only when the Resource Matching on Skill Specifications feature is enabled.

Workaround: Close and reopen the Skills Requirement dialog.
