Set Up Plaid Bank Integration

Use the Manage Plaid Bank Accounts screen to set up connections between Costpoint and Plaid-supported banks, configure the account types you want to integrate with Costpoint, and view transactions imported from Plaid bank accounts.

To set up Plaid bank integration:

  1. On the Plaid Banks table window, click Add Bank.

    The Plaid Link interface displays.

  2. Click Continue.

    The list of Plaid-supported banks displays.

  3. Select the bank where you have an account that you wish to link to a Costpoint bank account.
  4. Click Continue to login.
    This opens the authentication window.
  5. Enter your credentials for the bank and click Sign in.
    Succeeding authentication steps may be required depending on the bank's security policy.
    Once you have completed the authentication steps, the list of account types displays.
  6. Select the account type(s) you want to link to a Costpoint bank account and click Continue.
    The Confirmation screen displays.
  7. Select the I have read and accept the Terms and Conditions checkbox and click Connect account information.
  8. Close the Plaid Link interface.
    The newly added Plaid-supported bank displays on the Plaid Banks table window and the account types you selected display on the Accounts table window.
  9. If you need to modify the settings for an existing bank, select the record on the Plaid Banks table window, click Reconnect Bank, and repeat the procedure from step 2.
