Basic Information Tab

Use this tab of the Manage Work Assignments screen to enter and view details of the purchase order (PO) for which the work assignment settings will apply.

Field Description
PO ID

Enter, or click to select, a PO number. The PO must be of types Subcontractor Agreement, Subcontractor Agreement Release, or Subcontractor Blanket as set up on the Manage Purchase Orders screen.

Lookup values also depend on the work assignment type selected on the main screen. If Work Assignment Type is Subcontractor Agreement, the lookup displays only those POs with the Intracompany Vendor checkbox cleared on the Manage Purchase Orders screen. If Work Assignment Type is Subcontractor Agreement Intracompany, the lookup displays those with the Intracompany Vendor checkbox selected.

Release

Enter, or click to select, a release number for the PO.

Change Order

This field displays the last change order number for the PO. This defaults from the Change Order field on the Manage Purchase Orders screen.

Currency

This field displays the transaction currency code for the PO as set up in the Trans Currency field on the Manage Purchase Orders screen.

Vendor

This field displays the vendor ID as entered in the Vendor field on the Header tab of Manage Purchase Orders. The vendor name displays to the right of this field.

Subcontract ID

This field displays the subcontract ID as entered in the Subcontract ID field on the Subcontract Information tab of Manage Purchase Orders. The subcontract ID displays as a hyperlink that you can click to open the Manage Subcontracts screen and view additional information about the subcontract.

Note: The Manage Subcontracts screen is available only if you are licensed for Capture & Contracts.

The subcontract name displays to the right of this field. Both these fields are disabled and default from the subcontract ID and name associated with the PO ID.

Customer

Enter, or click to select, a customer. By default, this displays the customer ID associated with the project set up on the Accounting Defaults tab of Manage Purchase Orders. Once you select a customer, the customer name displays to the right of this field.

Work Assignment Start Date

Enter, or click to select, the work assignment start date.

Work Assignment End Date

Enter, or click to select, the work assignment end date.

Work Assignment Total

This group box displays the total hours and transactional and functional amounts from the work assignment charge lines.

Field Description
Hours

This field displays the total number of hours for all charge lines.

Trans Amount

This field displays the total transactional amount for all charge lines.

Func Amount

This field displays the total functional amount for all charge lines.

Recalculate

Click this button to recalculate the total functional amount when the transaction currency code for the purchase order changes.

Enter free-form text specific to the work assignment.
