Box 14 Lines 1-5 Tab

Use tab to edit the information for lines 1-5 of Box 14 on the selected W-2.

Lines 1 - 5

When creating the W-2 table, the actual amounts that are associated with each line are determined by which deduction codes or local taxes are assigned to lines 1 - 5 in the W2 Box 14 Usage drop-down list from the following locations:

• For Deductions, the Federal tab of the Manage Deductions screen
• For Local Taxes, the W-2 Reporting subtask of the Manage Local Taxes screen

Information in this box is optional; the IRS does not require it.

Field	Description
Line 1	Description: Enter the box 14 description for line 1. Amount: Enter the box 14 amount for line 1.
Line 2	Description: Enter the box 14 description for line 2. Amount: Enter the box 14 amount for line 2.
Line 3	Description: Enter the box 14 description for line 3. Amount: Enter the box 14 amount for line 3.
Line 4	Description: Enter the box 14 description for line 4. Amount: Enter the box 14 amount for line 4.
Line 5	Description: Enter the box 14 description for line 5. Amount: Enter the box 14 amount for line 5.
