Salary History Subtask

Managers use this tab to view the salary history table of their direct/indirect reports.

Managers use this tab to view the salary history table of their direct/indirect reports. If you are a manager, you can also add new salary records by clicking the New button and then entering an Effective Date that falls after the previous record's date. When you tab out of the Effective Date field, the previous record's information will default into the new record.
Warning: Managers may not insert a new salary record between existing salary records or copy data from an older record on this tab.

Field Description
Effective Date

This field displays the date for the data displayed. You can edit this field for new records only.

Detail Job Code This field displays the employee's detail job title code.
Detail Job Title This field displays the description of the detail job title code.
Employee Class Code

This field displays the class code in which the employee is included.

Employee Class Description This field displays the description of the employee class code.
Local/Location Code

This field displays the employee's labor location or their union's local if union functionality is enabled.

Local/Location Description This field displays the description of the location code.
GLC This field displays the employee's general labor category.
GLC Description This field displays the description of the GLC.
PLC This field displays the employee's project labor category.
PLC Description This field displays the description of the PLC.
Annual Salary

This field displays the employee's annual amount earned.

Hourly Amount

This field displays the employee's hourly amount earned.

Rate Type

This field displays the category of the employee's rate.

FLSA Classification

This field displays if the employee is exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Employee Type
This field displays the assigned type to the employee. Possible values are:
  • Regular
  • Part-Time
  • Temporary
Work Hours in Year

This field displays the total number of hours that the employee is expected to work over the course of a year.

Estimated Annual Hours

This field displays the projected total number of hours that the employee is expected to work over the course of a year.

Personal Action Code 1

This field any personnel action for the employee.

Personal Action Code 1 Description

This field displays the description associated with the personnel action.

Personal Action Code 2

This field any personnel action for the employee.

Personal Action Code 2 Description

This field displays the description associated with the personnel action.

Personal Action Code 3

This field any personnel action for the employee.

Personal Action Code 3 Description

This field displays the description associated with the personnel action.

Home Organization

This field displays the employee's home organization.

HR Organization

This field displays the employee's human resource organization.

Security Organization

This field displays the employee's security organization.

Manager

This field displays the employee's manager.

Supervisor This field displays the supervisor from the employee's salary information.
Change Request Action This field displays the type of action completed for the change request.
Change Request Status This field displays the status for the change request, if applicable.
Status Date This field displays the change request status date.
Notes This field displays additional information entered by the HR manager and manager.
