Time Settings
Use the Time Settings screen to establish system-wide configuration options for time processing in Deltek Time & Expense. Use it to establish a foundation for the business rules within the system.
You must supply all information in the Time Settings screen when initially setting up the system. After the initial setup, you can update configuration options as needed. A search is available in the screen so that you can edit sign/approve text options for other locales. Only locales set up in the Configure General Settings screen will display in this screen.

Locale is a non-editable field that displays the locale code followed by the locale description. The locale controls which configuration settings are being added, edited, or deleted. A company can have numerous configurations, each based on a different locale. To change to a different locale, use the Search option. Only locales defined in the Configure General Settings screen are available when searching. Note: Information entered for the default
Locale is used for all locales you have set up in the system. The
Signature/Approval Text field in the UDT Options Subtask and the
Rate 1 and
Rate 2 labels in the Miscellaneous tab are locale specific, meaning they can be different for each locale.
