Workers' Comp Subtask

This subtask displays the detail related to earnings and labor cost amounts summarized by workers' compensation code.

Field	Description
Employee	This field displays the ID of the employee whose record you are viewing. These fields display from the header on the main screen.
Pay Cycle	This field displays the pay cycle that has been processed for this record. This field displays from the header on the main screen.
Pay Cycle End Date	This field displays the end date for the pay cycle that has been processed for this record. This displays from the header on the main screen.
Record Type	This field displays the check type that has been processed for this record. This field displays from the header on the main screen. The check types are: R: Regular B: Bonus V: Voided W: Represents the positive values of a replacement check X: Can be used any time you want to generate a paycheck without first entering a timesheet
Taxable Entity	This field displays the taxable entity to which the employee is assigned at the time of entry for this record. This field displays from the header on the main screen.

Field	Description
Workers' Comp	This column displays the worker's comp code from timesheets that were included in the payroll for this record. If more than one timesheet is processed with the same workers' compensation code, the timesheets are summarized by Workers' Comp code. After clicking , you can enter additional workers' compensation codes. If you need to modify a Workers' Comp code for an existing record, use to retrieve that record.
Description	The description related to the Workers' Comp code entered is displayed.
State	This column displays the workers' compensation state from timesheets that were included in the payroll related to this Workers' Comp code. If you need to modify the state for a Workers' Comp code on an existing record, retrieve that record using . You can add lines by clicking . This is a required field.
Hours	This column displays the hours from timesheets that were included in the payroll related to this workers' compensation code. If you need to modify hours for a Workers' Comp code on an existing record, retrieve that record through . You can add lines by clicking .
Labor Amount	This column displays the labor amount from timesheets that were included in the payroll related to this workers' compensation code. If you need to modify labor amounts for a Workers' Comp code on an existing record, retrieve that record through . You can add lines by clicking .
Earnings Amount	The earnings amount associated with the timesheet lines summarized by workers' compensation code is displayed. This amount can be different, especially if the employee is a salaried employee and has uncompensated overtime. Costpoint calculates this amount when the payroll is processed. The calculation performed is similar to that performed by the auto-adjust feature (available on the Manage Timesheets screen).
