Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Assigned Standard Text Subtask

Use the table windows on this subtask to view a text code to determine the reports/documents for which the text may be available.

Standard Text

Field Description
Code

This field displays unselected text codes.

Rev

This field displays the revision of the standard text code. For new row, the highest existing revision number for the text code is loaded. For existing records, the value is zero (0).

Description

This field displays the description after you select the Text Code.

Select

Highlight a text code in the Standard Text table window and click Select. When you click this button, it adds the selected text code to the list of approved text codes for this part (the Assigned Standard Text table).

Field Description
Code

Enter, or click to select, the standard text code approved for this part.

Rev

Enter, or click to select, the revision of the standard text code approved for this part.

Description

Enter, or click to select, the description of the standard text code approved for this part. This field displays the description after you select the Text Code.

Autoload

If selected, this check box indicates that the standard text code/revision is applicable for loading into Line Text subtask in various applications when Autoload is selected.

Text Active

If selected, this check box indicates that the standard text code/revision combination is currently active.  

Document Print Option

This field indicates where the selected text prints. The system-defined selections are as follows:

  • Both: This value indicates that the text prints on both internal and external documents.
  • External: This value indicates that the text prints only on external documents, such as a purchase order.
  • Internal: This value indicates that the text prints only on internal documents, such as a receiver report.

Where-Used Click this link to open the Where-Used subtask, where you can view the list of documents where the selected text is used.
