Consume Forecasts Subtask
Use this subtask to specify how forecasts will be consumed by Costpoint once reservations are created for a sales order line.
If you selected the Allow Change of Forecast Qty in Enter Sales Orders check box on Configure Master Production Scheduling Settings screen, you can modify values on this screen and adjust the forecast part and inventory abbreviation to be consumed by the sales order line.
You can also select forecast records by need date and adjust the quantity to be consumed on each open forecast. You are not required to match the amount to be consumed from forecasts with the sales order line quantity. It is acceptable to consume more or less than the sales order quantity.
Use the fields preceding the table window to specify what forecasts you want loaded on the screen. Select the desired part, inventory abbreviation, and date range option, then click the Autoload Forecasts button to load the forecast requirements.
