Contents of the Manage Employee HSA Elections Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Employee HSA Elections screen.

HSA Election

Field Description
Employee

Enter, or click to select, the employee ID of the HSA owner.

Employee Name

This unlabeled field displays the name associated with the ID that you select on the Employee field.

Election Type

From the drop-down list, select the type of election for the HSA. Valid options are:

  • Single
  • Family
  • Single with Catch-Up
  • Family with Catch-Up
Plan Year

Enter, or click to select, the election plan year for the HSA.

Field Description
Election Amount

Enter the annual election amount for the HSA.

Start Date

Enter, or click to select, the starting date for the HSA election.

End Date

Enter, or click to select, the ending date for the HSA election.

Subtask

Subtask Description
Update Deduction Click this link to display the Update Deduction subtask, in which you update the Employee Deductions table with the deduction amount for this employee's HSA election. This link is enabled only when you have entered the Employee, Plan Year, Election Amount, and Start Date.
