UDT05S
Use this screen to maintain UDT05 records in stand-alone Time & Expense installations, or in co-deployed installations, to view data that populates from directly from Costpoint.
When Time & Expense is co-deployed with Costpoint, the fields on this screen populate directly from
and are display-only. Note also that records cannot be added, copied, or deleted.UDT05 is used for the Reference 2 field. You use it only if employees need to change their Reference 2 code in the system or if reports using Reference 2 code are required.

Screen Fields
If your version of Time & Expense is co-deployed with Costpoint, the fields described below are display-only.
Field | Description |

UDT05 | Enter a 20-character, uppercase alphanumeric
UDT05 code. Each code must be unique.
Note: The number of characters you enter cannot exceed the size set up in the
General Settings,

Description |
Enter up to 30 characters for a UDT05 description. You should make descriptions as short as possible and properly capitalize them because they are used in drop-downs and as column headings for reports and inquiries. Note: The number of characters you enter cannot exceed the size set up in the

Costpoint Company |
Click to select a Costpoint company. This lookup is enabled only if you selected the Costpoint Multicompany check box in the Miscellaneous tab of the General Settings screen. See the Concept Topic: Costpoint Multicompany for details on this feature. If the lookup is enabled, select the Costpoint Company name that you wish to associate with this UDT05. If you are working on a new UDT05, the first Costpoint company in the list is the default value. If Costpoint Multicompany is turned on and you are searching existing records, the first value to search on is Costpoint Company. |
Company Name | This field displays the name of the selected Costpoint company. |
Active |
Select this check box if the UDT05 is active. Note: You cannot delete a UDT05 code that is being used on a timesheet line, in an expense report, or on a wage schedule.
