Use this screen to establish individual manufacturers, their Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) IDs, and manufacturer names. You can associate a manufacturer with alternate part numbers on the Manage Alternate Parts screen to indicate from whom parts can be obtained.
Set up this screen during initialization and maintain it whenever you add or modify manufacturers.
Enter a manufacturer ID. You can associate this manufacturer with an alternate part number. You can use these manufacturers in the Manage Alternate Parts screen to identify from which manufacturers the given alternate part can be obtained. This is a required field.
Enter a manufacturer name.
Enter the manufacturer's CAGE ID. This must be the CAGE ID of the manufacturer, rather than your company. This can be the same as your Manufacturer ID.
