ASSIGN PLANNING WAREHOUSE TO INVENTORY PROJECT

Use this toolkit to assign a warehouse to a range of selected projects. You should run this toolkit if you are running Costpoint Material Requirements Planning by warehouse (you selected the Plan Warehouse Separately check box in the Corporate Settings block of the Configure Material Requirements Planning Settings screen). The toolkit will load the warehouse indicated into the Planning Warehouse field of the Manage Inventory Projects screen in Costpoint Inventory. You can also add the warehouse to projects within the selected range that have no assigned warehouse, or assign the warehouse to all projects within the range, whether or not a warehouse is assigned.

After you specify your preferences, click to run this toolkit.

Location

Select Range

Use the fields in this group box to select the inventory projects that you want to update.

Option

Use this drop-down list to select the range of inventory projects that you would like to update. Available options are:

Start

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the starting inventory project, as applicable.

End

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the ending inventory project, as applicable.

Options

Use this group box to specify additional options for this toolkit.

Only Update Projects within Range with no Assigned Warehouse

Select this option to load the warehouse only to the selected projects that do not have an assigned warehouse.

Update All Projects within Range, even if Warehouse has been Assigned

Select this option to load the warehouse to all the selected projects, whether a warehouse has been assigned or not.

Generate

Use this group box to specify the warehouse you want to load for the inventory projects.

Warehouse

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the warehouse that you would like to load for the selected inventory projects.
