  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

How to apply Indirect Costs and Overhead

Enable the Indirect subtask of the Manage Project Budgets and ETC screen if your reporting requirements for United States government contracts include reporting your pool rates and indirect budgeted costs as well as your cost of money rates and amounts by organization, pool number, and fiscal year.

To apply burden or indirect costs to your projects, create burden templates for your project budgets.

  • Establish these burden templates on the Manage Burden Templates screen. This process establishes cost pools for your project budgets and automatically applies your budgeted pool rates to each row on the Labor and/or Direct subtasks of the Manage Project Budgets and ETC screen.
  • You can also import cost pools from existing project pools. To apply these indirect rates for a project budget, select a burden template on the Info tab of the Manage Project Budgets and ETC screen. These burden templates were created in the Manage Burden Templates screen. You can edit or update the burden template by changing a cost pool rate or base and the budget can be recalculated with the new overhead rate.
