  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

How to Use Multipliers

When using a multiplier to calculate profit in your project budget subtasks (Direct, Labor, or Units), do NOT use the Fee subtask; use the Info tab.

Use the Multiplier Method drop-down list to select the method by which the profit is computed. Select either Use Multiplier on Budget Amt, Use Multiplier on Burdened Bud. Amt, or Use Multiplier on Rvsd Budget Amt. If you use a multiplier to compute profit in Costpoint Advanced Project Budgeting, any fee/profit amounts are included in the organization/account combinations for direct, labor, and units actual costs for your ETC computations and forecasts. If you use the Fee subtask to calculate profit for a project budget, you should NOT use a multiplier. If you use the Fee subtask to compute profit in Costpoint Advanced Project Budgeting, fee/profit amounts are not added to the organization/account combinations for direct, labor and units actual costs for your ETC computations and forecasts. The actual fee/profit is compared on a separate line with an F Line Type.
