COMPONENTS

This subtask displays components for each sales order line in the main screen table window. The fields on this screen default from the Components subtask of the Manage Sales Orders screen.

You can only access this subtask if components are issued at the SO line. In the Manage Sales Order screen, Yes displays in the Process Components column on the main screen table window.

Sales Order, Status, Customer, Trans Currency, SO Line, Item, Item Rev, Description, Due Date, Misc Type

These fields display from the Components subtask of the Manage Sales Orders screen.

Table Window

These fields display from the Components subtask of the Manage Sales Orders screen.

Line

This column displays the system identifier of a line on the sales order component. It is a sequential number assigned by Costpoint to track the component line items of the sales order. Costpoint supports an unlimited number of lines for a component.

Component Item

This column displays the component item for this line.

Rev

This field displays the latest revision when a valid item has been entered or selected.

Description

This field displays the description of the item. The item description loads from either the Manage Item Billings screen or the Manage CLIN Information screen depending on the option chosen on the Manage Sales Order Project Defaults and the Manage Sales Order Catalog Defaults screens.

Part Security

This field is visible only if the Use Part Data Security Controls check box is selected on the Configure Product Definition Settings screen, which indicates that the item is subject to data security restrictions, as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

If enabled, this field displays one of the following values to indicate whether the item you are accessing is subject to part data security restrictions and whether you have the necessary authorization to access information for that item:

Unrestricted— The item is not subject to data security restrictions.
Restricted— The item is subject to data security restrictions and that you are authorized to access detailed part information.
***UNAUTHORIZED***— The item is subject to data security restrictions and that you are not authorized to access or view part information. This value is displayed in red background color.

If you are unauthorized to access parts or revisions that are subject to data security restrictions, then you will not be able to create or edit SO lines for that restricted part/revision. In addition, you will not be able to view Line Documents, Substitute Parts, and Manufacturer/Vendor part information for those restricted items.

The features in this release relating to Part Data Security are intended to assist your company in achieving ITAR compliance. However, it is each company’s responsibility to confirm that it is meeting its obligations with respect to ITAR or other applicable requirements. Deltek does not warrant that use of this functionality will result in compliance.

U/M

This column displays the unit of measure for the component.

Product Option

This field displays the product option that can be used in place of a given component.

Line Type

This field displays the line type for the component line.

Order Quantity

This field displays the order quantity for the component line.

Incremental Unit Price Amount

This field displays how much to increase or decrease a SO line unit cost when a certain option is selected. Costpoint uses this for component processing.

Price Type

This field displays the price type for the component line.

Incremental Extended Price Amount

This field displays the incremental extended price amount of the selected component or line item.

Need Date

This field displays the need date for the component line.

Inventory Abbrev

This field displays the inventory abbreviation for the component line.

Planner

This field displays the planner for the component line.

BOM Configuration

This field displays the bill of material configuration for the component line.

Effectivity Date

This field displays the effective date for the component line.

Issued Quantity

This field displays the issue quantity for the component line.

Net Available Qty

This field displays the net available quantity for the component line.

On-Hand Qty

This field displays the on hand quantity for the component line.

Shipped Qty

This field displays the shipped quantity for the component line.

Trans Currency Incr Unit Price Amt

This field displays the incremental unit price amount for the component line. The amount will be specified in that transaction currency.

If you do not use Multicurrency, this column does not display.

Trans Currency Incr Ext Price Amt

This field displays the incremental extended price amount for the component line. The amount will be specified in that transaction currency. If you do not use Multicurrency, this column does not display.
