Use this screen to establish budget/outlook cycle initialization parameters. Using a source year, you can clone information on Holiday Schedule, PTO Pattern, Pool specifications, Employee specifications, Pool Rates, Non-Labor Specifications, Non-Labor Base Setup.
Click 
to select the source year and begin the initialization. You can use the past year as the Source Year, with the budgets that you already set up to serve as a template. Or you can select a previous year from which you want to pull actual information into the budgeting tables.
Click to select the target year and begin the initialization.
Upon selecting a Source Year and Target Year, the following parameters or actions are highlighted as required, optional or complete. If approved org budgets exist for the target year, not all options may be available.
Clone Holiday Schedule - Select this option to copy Holidays from Source Year to Target Year.
Clone PTO Pattern - Select this option to copy PTO Pattern from Source Year to Target Year.
Re-Clone Pool Specs - Select this option to copy Pool Specifications from Source Year (Live) to Target Year (Budget).
Re-freeze Employee Specs - Select this option to copy Current Employee Specifications (Live) to Target Year (Budget). You are freezing employee salary rates when you do this.
Clone NL Percent Specs - Select this option to copy NL Percent Specifications from Source Year (Budget) to Target Year (Budget).
Green - Indicates the action for the parameter has been populated or complete and data exists for the indicated FY.
Red - Indicates a required action for the parameter. It also means no data exists for the indicated FY and data has not been populated. If the source year is Red, there is nothing to copy to the target year.
Yellow - Indicates an optional action, and that no data exists for the indicated FY.
When there is no colored box in the source year, you can only edit the target year.
After you select the Source Year and Target Year, click the Holidays, PTO Pattern, Pool Rates, Pool Base Acct, Pool Cost Acct, Employee Rates, NLAB Percent Base and NLAB Percent Types link to display the report information.
