History Tab

Use this tab to enable transferring of project historical hours data to Deltek Resource Planning.

Historical hours needs to be added into Resource Planning database to show the number of hours spent by each employee on each project and calculate the Estimate at Completion for each project. The integration process extracts this information from the Timesheet Line History (TS_LN_HS) and Timesheet Line (TS_LN) tables.

Note: If you use this integration, Deltek recommends that you make all changes to project hours on timesheets instead of journal entries since TS_LN table do not include hours moved by adjusting journal entries

You need to define export parameters for historical hours information on the Configure Project Options screen before you can include this type of data in the Transfer Resource Planning Data process.

Field Description
Transfer Historical Hours

Select this check box to include historical hours information in the export process.

Summarize Hours as of

Enter, or click calendar.gif to select, the threshold date to summarize hours. If you enter a date in this field, the export process will only include historical hours information on or before the specified date. The default value of this field is the current date.

Warning: Deltek recommends not changing this date after you perform an initial data load to Resource Planning. Changing this date can cause data integrity issues if you run the integration without clearing the underlying Resource Planning table.

Enter, or click to select, the parameter ID that contains the export settings for historical hours information.
