Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Integration Field Mapping Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Integration Field Mapping screen.

Identification

Field Description
Interface ID This field displays VSWS_CP7X as the default value since, currently, this screen only supports the Capture Management data migration. The adjacent field displays the interface name, GovWin Capture Management Data Migration.
Map ID Enter a unique ID for the field mapping.
Application ID Enter, or click to select, the Costpoint application ID for which you want to view or define mapping from the source system fields to Costpoint fields.

Integration Field Mapping Details

When you click the Load Defaults button, this table will display the standard mapping of fields from Capture Management to Costpoint for the selected application in the Application ID field.

Note: Key fields used by the migration/integration will not be editable.
Field Description
Target Resultset Enter, or click to select, the Resultset ID of the target database column in Costpoint.
Target Column Name Enter, or click to select, the target database column in Costpoint.
Target Label This field displays the field label of the selected target column in Costpoint.
Column Length This field displays the field label of the selected target column in Costpoint.
Column Scale This field displays the scale of the selected target column in Costpoint.
Info Center Name Enter the name of the Info Center for the column. For example, Projects, Opportunities, or Activities.
Source Table Enter the Capture Management database table from which the migration will take data for the target field.
Note: The Lookup function is not available on this field. If you edit the default value on this field, ensure that the value is valid. Otherwise, the data transfer to Costpoint will not be successful.
Source Column Enter the Capture Management database column from which the migration will take data for the target field.

Source Data Type From the drop-down list, select the data type of the source column. Valid values are:
  • STRING
  • DATE
  • NUMBER
Use Element Mapping Select this check box if the field uses source element values to target element value translations from the Manage Element Value Mappings screen.
Element ID Enter, or click to select, the element ID from the Manage Element Value Mappings screen.
Element Description This field displays the description of the selected value in the Element ID field.
Load Defaults Click this button to load the default mapping of Capture Management fields to Costpoint fields for the selected application in the Application ID field.
