BCWP to Total Budget Comparison Chart
The BCWP to Total Budget Comparison chart on the Master Dashboard tab displays cumulative BCWP and remaining budget for elements at the selected level of the contract structure.
Chart Format
The BCWP to Total Budget Comparison chart is a stacked bar chart.
Right-click
in the Bottom to Top Variance bar chart (the leftmost chart at the bottom of the tab) to select the type of variance amount for which you want the BCWP segments to display the threshold status color. You can also click
one or more times to cycle through the variance options.
Use
in the Bottom and Top variance tables in the upper-right corner of the tab to select the structure level.
This chart is not affected by the Cumulative and Current options. It always uses cumulative BCWP amounts.
| Chart Item | Description |

| Horizontal axis | The horizontal axis displays the range of budget at completion (BAC) amounts for the included elements. |
| Vertical axis | The vertical axis displays all elements at the selected level of the structure that satisfy the filters you apply. They display in order from the element with the largest total budget to the one with the smallest total budget. |
| Stacked bars | Each bar represents the BAC for that element of the structure.
The two segments in each bar represent cumulative BCWP and the remaining BAC for that element. The color of the BCWP segment indicates the threshold status of the selected variance's cumulative variance amount for that element. For example, if CV is selected on the Bottom to Top Variance bar chart in the lower-left corner of this tab, this segment displays in the threshold status color for the element's cumulative cost variance amount. A legend at the bottom of the tab displays the thresholds. |
