Profit Chart
The Profit chart on the Contract View tab displays estimated profit amount or margin by contract based on data as of the selected period.

Chart Format
The Profit chart is a bar chart.
| Chart Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Horizontal axis | The horizontal axis displays the contracts. |
| Vertical axis | If you select the
Amount option, the vertical axis displays the range of estimated profit amounts.
If you select the Percent option, the vertical axis displays the range of estimated profit margins as decimals. |
| Bars | Each bar represents the estimated profit amount or margin for that contract. |
Chart Data
The Profit chart displays the following data for each of the selected contracts:

| Estimated profit | Estimated profit amount calculated using the estimated contract price and the most likely estimate at completion as of the selected period: EstPrice – EacML |
| Estimated profit margin | Estimated profit margin calculated using the estimated contract price and the most likely estimate at completion as of the selected period: (EstPrice – EacML) / EstPrice |
To see the actual estimated profit amount or margin value for a contract, position the mouse pointer on that bar. The information displays in a data box.
