Perform General Setup on the Talent Management Side

Learn the general steps to set up the Talent Management side of a Talent Management and Polaris integration.

To set up the Talent Management side for integration:

  1. Access the Features screen (Administration > Global Settings > System Administration > Features) and enable the following features for the Global group under the Core and Requisition area on the Features screen:

    Click Core to expand this section and enable the following:

    • Polaris Integration
    • Integration-Platform-as-a-Service
      • Requisition Status Changed Event
      • User Hired Event
      • Recruiting

    Click Requisition to expand this section and enable the following:

    • Default Creator for Drafts from Feed
    • Default Job for Drafts from Feed
    • Default Workflow for Drafts from Feed
  2. Access the Requisitions section of System Settings (Administration > Global Settings > System Administration > System Settings > Requisitions) and choose default values for the following Requisition System Settings:
    • Default Job for Draft Requisition
    • Default Creator for Draft Requisition Creators
    • Default Workflow for Draft Requisition
  3. Create a SOA master token, if one has not already been created.
  4. As an Administrator, access the Integration Setup screen (Administration > Support Tools > Integration Setup) and click Install Polaris Integration.

    When redirected to Polaris you log in and the integration exchanges all required information.
