Use the Graph tab to create a graph and include it in the report.
All tabs on the Report Options dialog box share some common options and buttons.
Select this check box to include a graph in the report and enable all options on the Graph Tab.
Enter the title of the graph.
Select the type of graph.
Select this check box to view the graph in three dimensions.
Select this check box to display data up to the Status Date. Leave this unmarked to display data for all calendar periods.
Use the drop-down list to select the labels to be shown on the graph. The choices in this list change depending on the type of graph selected in the Type field.
Select this check box to change the bar graph orientation from vertical to horizontal. This option is only available when you select Bar graph as the graph type.
Enter a name for the Y-axis of the graph. This field is only available if you select Bar graph as the graph type.
If you select Direct in the Units drop-down list of the General tab, the Y Title text box defaults to Direct (in thousands). If you select Hours in the Units drop-down list of the General tab, the Y Title text box defaults to Hours. If you select Total Cost in the Units drop-down list of the General tab, the Y Title text box defaults to Total cost (in thousands).
Enter a name for the X-axis of the graph. This field is only available if you select Bar graph as the graph type.
Use this field to specify the parameter used to calculate the bubble size. The default is EAC. This option is only available for the Control Account Analysis report.
Select this check-box to display the control account description immediately below the bubble. This option is only available for the Control Account Analysis report.
Select one of the shapes from the drop-down list to indicate positive bubble size values. This option is only available for the Control Account Analysis report.
Select one of the shapes from the drop-down list to indicate negative bubble size values. This option is only available for the Control Account Analysis report.
Enter the label for the CPI in this text box. This option is only available for the Control Account CPI and SPI report.
Select the CPI pointer color from the drop-down list. This option is only available for the Control Account CPI and SPI report.
Enter the label for the SPI in this text box. This option is only available for the Control Account CPI and SPI report.
Select the SPI pointer color from the drop-down list. This option is only available for the Control Account CPI and SPI report.
Select this check to display a line that links the labels to their corresponding sections in the graph. This check box only displays when you select pie, pie exploded, doughnut, or doughnut exploded as the graph type.
Select how you want the data to be displayed.
You can use this option for Bar graphs only. Select this check box to include an additional series of data in the graph report. Select the fields you want to include in the graph. You can add only two series of data to the graph report. By default the Add series check box is not selected.
You can use this option for pie, pie exploded, doughnut, and doughnut exploded charts only. Select this check box to include an additional series of data in the graph report. Select the fields you want to include in the graph. You can add only two series of data to the graph report. By default the Add slices check box is not selected.
Select the format.
For bar charts, the Y Title description that you enter is populated with the option you select here.
If you select Direct in the Units drop-down of the General tab, this field defaults to Thousands. If you select Hours in the Units drop-down of the General tab, this field defaults to Standard format. If you select Total Cost in Units drop-down in the General tab, this field will default to Thousands.
Select the graph legend position from the drop-down list.
Select the location on the report where you want the graph to display on the report.
Select the graph legend position on the report. By default, the Legend field is Right - Align Top.
Enter the font size for all labels and values that displays on the graph. The default font size is 8.
Enter the height for the graph area. The default graph height is 3.00 inches or 76.2 millimeters. The numeric format should follow: 99.99.
Enter the top margin for the graph. The default top margin is 0.50 inches or 12.70 millimeters. The numeric format should follow: 99.99.
Enter the width of the graph. The default width is 6.00 inches or 152.4 millimeters. The numeric format should follow: 99.99.
Enter the left margin for the graph. The default left margin is 1.00 inches or 25.4 millimeters. The numeric format should follow: 99.99.
