Customize Form Elements Using the Form Designer

Use the Form Designer to adjust the layout of a form, make changes to custom and source fields, and set the properties of the form elements.

To customize form elements, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Navigation menu, click Administration ยป Workflow Type Configuration.

  2. Click Form Designer on the form toolbar.

  3. Select the tab where you want to customize the elements. You can rearrange the order of the tabs by dragging a tab to the new position.

  4. Click an element to customize. You can change the properties of an element by updating the fields on the Properties panel on the right side of the form.

    The Properties panel allows you to change the element's properties. Click  to list the properties according to categories such as Misc (Caption, Hidden, Locked, Required, Tool Tip), Position (Left and Top), and Size (Height and Width). Click to list the properties alphabetically.

  5. Perform any of the following actions:

    Customizing the properties of one radio button sets the properties of the rest of the radio buttons on the tab. They cannot be customized individually. The position of this element cannot be changed by dragging them to another location on the tab. You can change the position by entering values in the Horizontal Spacing, Vertical Spacing, First Button Top Position and First Button Left Position fields on the Properties panel.

  6. Click OK to save the changes.
