add resources to overhead projects to identify vacations and other nonbillable

To add a resource
- If you are not already working with the project, open it by clicking it in the project list at the top of the Project Command Center.
- Click the Manage tab.
- Click the icon in the Description column where you want to add a resource, and then select Add labor, Add expense, or Add consultant.
A new row for the labor, expense, or consultant resource appears.
- In the Type column for the resource you added, click the cell and then click to select the type of resource.

- In the Reference/Commitment # column, type a short description that helps you further identify a consultant or expense resource. You use it to distinguish budget items when managing vendor invoices.
Always enter an ID in this field.
- To get the most benefit from your reports, be sure to enter estimated start and completion dates.
- Complete the other fields, as needed.
- Click Save.
