Labor Plan Summary Chart on the Labor Planning Page

Use the Labor Plan Summary chart on the Labor Planning page to view the estimate-to-complete (ETC), job-to-date (JTD), and contract amounts for the project, phase, or task that is selected in the Planning grid. This information is useful when you need to compare the ETC and JTD amounts with the contract amount.

Contents

As you select different elements on the Planning grid, amounts on the chart update to reflect the data shown on the grid. The chart also updates to display edits to the plan when edits are saved.

Field Description
Contract This line represents the labor contract amount from the Contract planning grid.
ETC Amount This bar represents the estimate-to-complete (ETC) labor amount for the project. This is the billing value of planned labor required from tomorrow forward through the end of the plan.

If the Vision plan's Budget Type is set to Cost, this amount displays as zero. If a project is mapped on multiple Vision plans that have the Include in utilization and project reports option selected, Navigator totals are the combined values.

Calculation: ETC = Planned labor amount at billing from tomorrow forward.

If your firm uses Vision Multicurrency, the currency amounts display in the project's billing currency or project currency. The currency is based on the Use Billing Currency not Project Currency option in Vision > Accounting > System Settings.

JTD Amount This bar represents the job-to-date labor amount through today's date for the project. It is based on actual JTD labor charges at billing and includes unposted charges.

Calculation: JTD = posted and unposted labor charges at billing through today

If your firm uses Vision Multicurrency, the currency amounts display in the project's billing currency or project currency. The currency is based on the Use Billing Currency not Project Currency option in Vision > Accounting > System Settings.
