Add the wInsight Analytics Web Services Test Tab

The Web Services Test tab does not display in wInsight Analytics module by default. You need to add it to the view using QlikView Desktop.

Note:

The Web service must be deployed on the same machine with the same port as QlikView. If a client wants to deploy the Web service to a different port on the same machine or a different machine, the client's IT team will be responsible for configuring the Web server with the necessary IIS settings.

To add the Web Services Test tab to the view, complete the following steps:

1. In QlikView Desktop, double-click wInsight_Analytics.qvw. This file is located in the <installation location>\final folder.
2. On the View menu, verify that WebView is turned on.
3. Click to create a new sheet.
4. On the new sheet, right-click anywhere and then select New Sheet Object.
5. In the Extension Objects list, select wInsightWebServicesTest and drag it onto the sheet.
