Contents of the My Employees Performance Tab

View an overview of information for your direct reports, and manage appraisals, continuous feedback sessions, recognitions, 360 assessments, and employee goals. The information displayed on this tab and actions available depend on the features enabled for you and your organization.

Field Description
Employee Section Header

The section header for each employee contains the name and job title. Click the name to open the employee's Total Talent Profile, where you can view details about the employee. Click the job title to open the Position Profile screen, where you can view details about the job.

Employee Badge and Ribbon
The Employee Badge contains a photo and, beneath that, key performance information:
  • PB: This is the performance score. An up arrow, down arrow, or equal sign icon indicates whether the performance score has improved, declined, or stayed the same from the prior year's appraisal.
  • Drill Down icon:Click the icon to view employee profiles for the direct reports of the current employee. Click the Up arrow next to the original employee name to return to the original employee.

The details that display on the Ribbon area to the right of the photo depend on the tab and button selected. For example, if the Continuous Feedback button is selected on the Performance tab, details about active continuous feedback sessions display in the Ribbon. The buttons available for selection depend on the features enabled for you and your organization.

Continuous Feedback Button

When this button is selected, the Ribbon displays a list of Pending and Accepted continuous feedback sessions for each employee. Click the session name in the Subject field to view session details in a new browser tab. Click the Manager's name to view that employee's Total Talent Profile. You must have the Performance > Continuous Feedback feature enabled to see this button.

Appraisals Button
When this button is selected, the Ribbon displays current, pending, and past employee and project appraisals for each employee. Click the appraisal name to view details in a new browser tab. 360 assessments are not displayed here. 360s display when the 360 button is selected. Options available from the Actions menu when this button is selected:
  • Current Appraisals:options for current appraisals are Print Appraisal and Reassign.
  • Pending Appraisals:options for pending appraisals are Print Appraisal and Score.
  • Past Appraisals:options for past are View Scores, to view scoring details such as Overall Scale Score, Raw Scale Score, and Raw Percentage Score and Print Appraisal
Employee Goals Button

When this button is selected, the Ribbon displays employee goals. Click the goal name to view details. You must have the Performance > Employee Goals feature enabled to see this button.

Recognition Button

When this button is selected, the Ribbon displays recognition received by each employee. Click the recognition title to view details in a new browser tab. Click the name of the employee who created the recognition to open that employee's Total Talent Profile. You must have the Performance > Employee Recognition > Employee Recognition Page feature enabled to see this button.

360s Button

When this button is selected, the Ribbon displays current, pending, and past 360 assessments. Click the name to view details of the assessment. Click the name of the manager to open that employee's Total Talent Profile. Options available from the Actions menu are Print Appraisal . You must have the Performance > 360 feature enabled to see this button.

At the top right of the screen, use the Collapse All/Expand All buttons to open or close all detail on all employee profiles.

You perform the following actions from each employee's Actions menu. The actions listed depend on configuration, user permissions, and placement of employees on the org chart.

  • Create CF Sesion: Click to open the Create New Continuous Feedback Session screen, where you can create a session for direct reports.
  • Create New Appraisal: Click to open the Launch Appraisals screen with the current employee selected. You can select additional employees, select a new Performance Workflow or keep the original, and click Finish to launch.
  • Create Employee Goal: Click to manage employee goals created outside the appraisal process, such as editing, changing status, retiring, and deleting.
  • Give Recognition: Click to open the Give Recognition tab with the current employee selected.
  • Create New 360 Assessment: Click to select options to launch a 360 Assessment.
  • Set Performance/Potential Rating: Click to open the Set Performance/Potential Rating dialog box, where you can edit the Potential scale, set a manual Performance score, select the next step for the employee on their path, such as a lateral move or a promotion, and specify the risk of loss as low, medium, or high.

    The rating options available in the Performance Score column of the Set Performance/Potential Rating dialog box are determined by the scale selected by an Administrator as the System Overall Scale. An Administrator sets this option on the Scales screen (Administration > Global Settings > Your Organization > Scales).
