As your display gets more complex and you add more data to your screen, you may have difficulty seeing all the information you need. Splitter bars divide the display area into sections, both horizontally and vertically. These sections are referred to as panes or frames. Using a splitter bar to resize an area of the screen allows you to view more data in that area.
To use a splitter bar:
Position the cursor on the horizontal or vertical splitter bar.
When the cursor changes shape, click and hold the left mouse key then drag the bar up/down (vertical) or left/right (horizontal) to the desired position.
The splitter bar settings are not preserved therefore when you exit and reenter the view, the splitter bars will have returned to their default position.
