To accommodate companies located or doing business in countries other than the United States, PM Compass provides default number, currency, and date formats for reports based on your settings in Regional and Language Options in Microsoft Windows. PM Compass also enables you to modify those default formats for individual report columns. (To review or change your settings for Windows, display the Windows Control Panel and double-click Regional and Language Options.)
The Layout tab on the Options dialog box for a report displays the default number (non-currency) formats for the report. Those formats, in turn, become the default formats for each numeric field on the report. You can modify the default formats on the Layout tab.
Use this option to indicate if you want the default number type to be Number or Percent.
This field displays a sample of how the numbers will display with the current options.
Select this option if you want to use the default number of decimal places. Otherwise, clear the option and select or enter the number of decimal places in Decimal places.
Use this field to select either no grouping (123456789) or the default grouping for the applicable culture. For example, if the culture for the report displayed in the Override regional settings field on the Layout tab is English (United States), this option is 123,456,789.
