Use this procedure to display and navigate through the PM Compass Help System.
You can display the PM Compass Help system in one of three ways:
Click the global Help icon to display the Help system from any PM Compass feature. The global Help icon is located on the application toolbar at the top of your screen.
Click the Help icon on the form toolbar in any PM Compass feature to view help for that application. Toolbars are located at the top of each form in PM Compass.
Click the Help button on a dialog box to view help for that dialog box.
After you display the PM Compass Help system, use the following icons to view the help system contents, index, and glossary; print help topics; return to previously displayed topics; and display drop-down text in selected help topics. These icons are located on the toolbar at the top of the help system window.
Click the Contents icon to display the Table of Contents for the entire Help system.
Click the Index icon to display the index for the entire Help system. You can search for index entries using keywords.
Click the Glossary icon to obtain definitions of terms used in PM Compass.
Click the Print icon to print the current help topic.
Click the Back icon to jump back to the previous help topic you viewed.
Click the Show/Hide icon once to display all drop-down text in the current topic. Click the icon again to hide the drop-down text.
The left pane of the help system displays the Help system Contents, Index, or Glossary. The right pane displays the contents of the currently selected help topic.
The left pane includes icons that you can use to scroll through the Table of Contents and to hide the left pane, allowing you to view more of the content on the right pane.
Click the Back/Forward Arrows icon at the upper left of the pane to scroll through the help topics in the current book in the Table of Contents.
Click 
at the upper right corner of the pane to hide the pane. Click the Contents, Index, or Glossary icon to restore the associated pane.
The View Location link at the bottom of many of the help pages provides steps on how to access the form, view, or dialog box, that is described on the displayed help page, in PM Compass.
