The Cost Analysis feature of PM Compass allows you to view the status of your control accounts and work packages, and monitor if they are progressing as planned.
You must have access to a project and the Cost Analysis menu option to access the view.
Any users with read-only rights to the cost project can change links and other details on the project.
When you click a hyperlink on a control account or work package, the security is checked to ensure that you have access to the Explanation of Variance workflow type. If you have access, the Explanation of Variance form displays. Otherwise, a message displays.
