User-Initiated Alerts Example
To complete the above task, navigate to the User Initiated Alerts application by clicking the highlighted User-Initiated alert option under the Administration group.
Once inside the application, you have the option to select the required area to which the alert belongs.
Insert a new alert by clicking Insert in the Alerts grid. The type is set to Change to indicate that the alert will be executed when there is a change in the Project data.
Enter a description.
Specify the action that will happen when the alert executes. In this case, an email alert action is configured by clicking Insert in the Actions grid and then selecting the Email Alert option.
Configure the email alert.
Click OK to close the dialog box.
click Save to save the User-Initiated alert.
