You can create alerts in PM compass for suspended workflows.
To create an alert for suspended workflows:
On the Navigation menu, click Administration ยป Workflow type Configuration.
On the Workflow Type Configuration Form, select the Workflow Steps tab.
Click the Insert button in the Actions grid.
Select Suspended Notification to display the Add Suspended Alert Dialog Box where you can set the alert.
Enter the required information.
Click Save.
