Troubleshooting: Check Workflow Type Configuration Required to Capture Snapshots

To run the BCR Analysis report, the Cobra Data Tool must be set up to link to a snapshot database to capture snapshots.

See "Appendix K: Managing BCR Snapshot Database" of the Cobra Installation Guide for steps to configure BCR Snapshot database.

If the snapshot database is not linked to the Cobra database, this check will always pass. If the snapshot database is configured but there are no workflow types configured to capture snapshots, the check will pass.

These workflow configuration settings must be met to create snapshots:

To configure a workflow type to capture snapshots:

  1. In PM Compass, in the Navigation pane, click Administration ยป Workflow Type Configuration.

  2. Click the Change Details on Form tab.

  3. Select the Use Class option.

  4. Click  to display the Search Class dialog box.

  5. Perform a search and select a budget class.

  6. Click Save.

  7. In PM Compass, verify the installed components again.
