To run the BCR Analysis report, the Cobra Data Tool must be set up to link to a snapshot database to capture snapshots.
If the snapshot database is not linked to the Cobra database, this check will always pass. If the snapshot database is configured but there are no workflow types configured to capture snapshots, the check will pass.
These workflow configuration settings must be met to create snapshots:
The change class is a budget class.
The Change Class Options field is set to Use Class (not Create a New Class).
The Load the Change into Cost System as field is set to A New or Change Amount (not A Replacement of Existing Time Phased Data).
To configure a workflow type to capture snapshots:
In PM Compass, in the Navigation pane, click Administration ยป Workflow Type Configuration.
Click the Change Details on Form tab.
Select the Use Class option.
Click
to display the Search Class dialog box.
Perform a search and select a budget class.
Click Save.
In PM Compass, verify the installed components again.
