When the CAM's receive the Contract Change Request back from the scheduler for review, it is possible for them to edit schedule, time phased costs, or work package code assignments by clicking the Edit Schedule button on the Change Details view toolbar. If any CAM makes changes and submits the Contract Change Request, the workflow steps send the entire Contract Change Request back to the scheduler where the process starts over.
When the Create Downstream Change Workflows step action is executed for a second time, the downstream child workflows that were created when the step action was initially executed are evaluated:
If the Control Account Change does not exist, it is added using the rules listed under the Create Downstream Workflows Step Action heading above.
If the Control Account Change does exist, and the control account dates change, the Control Account Change is deleted and recreated and the workflow steps are restarted. If the Control Account Change has already been closed, it is reverted to a state of In-Progress, and the workflow steps restart at step one.
If the control account dates do not change, that control account is skipped.
There may be instances where the activity dates change within a control account; however, if those dates don't affect the overall control account dates the Control Account Change is not updated.
If a Control Account Change exists that no longer has a control account in the downstream project, the Control Account Change is deleted.
