Select Opportunities to Include on the Upcoming Milestones Timeline

The Upcoming Milestones Timeline chart displayed in the Dashboard area presents a history of your milestones from the current time forward, based on your filtered opportunities. You can view more detail for a milestone by clicking on the point on the timeline.

Deltek displays up to 7 milestones on the timeline, beginning with the most current milestone. Use the paging arrows at either end of the milestone chart to move to previous or next milestones across the timeline. Use Search filters to refine which opportunities are included on the timeline.

To select the opportunities to include in the milestone timeline:

1. In the Navigation pane, go to the My Stuff section and select Dashboard.
2. In the top section of the Dashboard form, click to the right of Upcoming Milestones to display the Search filter list.
3. Select one of the following filter options:
   • Select a standard filter, such as All ,Active, or Mine.
   • Select an existing saved filter.
   • Select Custom to display the Custom Search dialog box.
   Only those milestones associated with the opportunities included in the search are displayed on the timeline.
4. Use the previous and next paging arrows to page through both historical and future milestones across the timeline.
5. Click a point on the milestone timeline to display an info bubble that shows the following details about a single or multiple milestone(s). Click More... to display a separate browser window tin order to view additional milestone information about the specified milestone’s opportunity. Related Topics: Upcoming Milestones
