Configure Delegation Settings

The Delegation feature allows you to restrict overall delegation between roles and sets which roles are able to delegate or receive delegated tasks.

To configure the Delegation feature, complete the following process from within the Administration module:

  1. Click Configuration > General General ControlsConfigure General Settingsscreen
  2. Select Restrict Delegation check box on the Miscellaneous tab.
  3. Click Configuration > Resources > Manage Security Roles screen.
  4. Select the Allow Delegation check box in the Delegation Settings area.
  5. Click Configuration > Resources > Manage Functional Roles screen.
  6. In the Delegation Rights area, select the Allow delegation check box, and click the Functional Role Lookup to select the role to which the role can delegate.
