Project Settings: Workflow Management (Deprecated Function)
Use workflow management to track the progress of the automation within a project or deliverable. Your access to these settings is dependent on your version of ConceptShare.
Important: Workflows are available only in the Enterprise Edition of ConceptShare.
The workflow management screen displays a list of all the workflows along with their respective statuses, stages, and errors for a specific project or deliverable.
You can click the column headers to sort the information to find items that you want to find.
Clicking the chevron to the right of the workflow displays the Actions menu.
Selecting the check box to the left of a workflow activates the Start, Pause, and Reload buttons on the toolbar.
Action | Description |
---|---|
Pause | Stop the progression of the workflow. |
History | This action displays the list of actions that have taken place as part of this workflow with the relevant dates and times. |
Resume | Restart the workflow where it was paused. |
Restart at Stage | Restart the workflow but with the option to specify where it will restart. This allows for exception management or to restart a stage if someone made an error. The workflow will then repeat all actions in this stage. |
Restart at Beginning | This action restarts the workflow. This can be useful if the project timelines or other criteria have changed, or if there has been a number of employee changes within your teams.
Note: Restarting does not overwrite or remove existing actions. For example, if your stage has an action to create a to-do and you then pause and restart at the beginning of that stage, you will end up with a second to-do.
