Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Process Logs Dialog Box

Use the Process Logs dialog box to filter, view, or delete process log files. You can also use the Process Log viewer to view the logs that are saved in the database.

Logs are generated and saved during processing for multiple features such as the Advance Calendar Wizard and Integration Wizard. Use the Process Logs dialog box to filter, view, or delete process log files.

Field Description
Project Use this field to enter the name of the project, or click to select the project whose process log files you want to view.
Note: If you do not select a project, the log files for the selected process will be displayed for all projects. In addition, if you do not select a project, the grid displays the SQL Command logs.
Process Use this field to select a process whose log files you want to view.

Note: If you do not select a process, all process logs for the selected project will be displayed in the grid. If you select the SQL Command process, the Project field is cleared. If you select Batch API, the Batch Start Time field becomes enabled.
Batch Start Time Use this field to select the start time of the batch API process that was run for the specified project.
Show Logs for User By default, this field displays the ID of the user currently logged into Cobra. If a user is selected, the Process Logs grid will only display process logs run by the specified user. An empty field will display the process logs for all users. If you are a SYSADMIN user or a member of the SYSADMIN group, you can view all process logs for all users. If you are a NON-SYSADMIN user, you can only view the logs for processes run on projects that you have at least read access.

Use this field to enter the name of the user or click to select the user that you want to view the process logs.

Date Range Use this field to specify which process logs are to be displayed based on the selected time frame from the current calendar date. Your options are:
  • <blank>: Select this option to display all available process logs.
  • Last 30 days: Select this option to display the process logs for the past 30 days from the current calendar date.
  • Last 60 days: Select this option to display the process logs for the past 60 days from the current calendar date.
  • Last 90 days: Select this option to display the process logs for the past 90 days from the current calendar date.
  • Last 12 months: Select this option to display the process logs for the past 12 months from the current calendar date.

By default, this field is set to Last 30 days.

Apply Filter Click this button to display the records in the grid.
Process Log Grid The grid displays the following information:
  • Process: This column displays the process name.
  • Project: This column displays the project name.
  • Start Time: This column displays the process' start time.
  • End Time: This column displays the process' end time.
  • Errors: This column displays the error count.
  • Warnings: This column displays the warning count.
  • User: This column displays the user who ran the process.
Note: Click the header column to sort the records by that field.
View Log Select a process log you want to view from the grid and click this button to view the log file.
Note: You can also view a log file by double-clicking the log file in the grid.
Delete Select a process log you want to delete from the grid and click this button to delete the process log. You can select multiple process logs by pressing the CTRL or SHIFT key while clicking. A message confirming the deletion displays. Click Yes to proceed with the deletion.
Note: You can select multiple process logs by pressing the CTRL or SHIFT key while clicking.

Only the project owner, process owner or member of the SYSADMIN group can delete a log file. If you own a project, you can delete any log file related to the project you own.
