Setting up security for billing review

Members of a role do not see these billing review options unless you give the members access to them:

  • > Setup > General > Billing Review Stages
  • > Manage > Project Command Center> Customize options for billing review
  • > Manage > Project Command Center>  Invoices tab
  • > Reports > Standard Inquiries Client > Billing Review History
Note: Give only a limited number of employees access to billing review. In this way, you can ensure that the billing review process proceeds as smoothly as possible.

To set up security for billing review

  1. From the > Setup menu, click Company > Roles.
  1. Click the role you want to give access to billing review, and click Edit.
  2. Do the following:

Set up billing review stages

  1. Click the Setup tab.
  2. Select the Billing review stages check box.

The > Setup > General > Billing Review Stages menu option appears.

  1. Click the Projects tab.
  1. On the Project List subtab, expand the General Info category by clicking the symbol.
  2. Select the Show check box for one or more of the following:
  • PM Action
  • BM Action
  • Prin Action
  • Acctg Action
  1. On the same subtab, expand the Billing & Invoicing category by clicking the symbol.
  2. Select the Billing Review Stage check box.

The notification columns and Billing Review Stage column appear as options in the Customize window of the Project Command Center.

View the PCC Invoices inquiry on the Invoices tab of the Project Command Center

  1. Click the Projects tab.
  2. Click the Invoices subtab.
  3. Select the Show Invoices tab check box.

The > Manage > Project Command Center > Invoices tab appears.

View the Billing Review History inquiry
  1. Click the Inquiry tab.
  2. Select the Show on Menu check box for the Billing Review History inquiry. When you select this check box, Ajera automatically selects the Allow check box.

The > Reports > Standard Inquiries > Client > Billing Review History inquiry appears.

  1. Click Save.
