Changing attachment categories

You can change attachment categories only if one of your roles has access to attachment categories.

You can change attachment categories from either of the following:


The > Setup menu

  1. From the > Setup menu, click General > Attachment Categories.
  2. Click the attachment category you want to change, and click Edit.
  3. Change the information as needed:

Description

Change the name of the attachment category.

Type

Select the applicable type for the category. The type determines where the category is available in Ajera:

  • All (available in all windows that accept attachments)
  • Bank Account
  • Department
  • Chart of Account
  • Role
  • Project
  • Client
  • Vendor
  • Employee
  • Contact
  • Activity
  • Billing Rate Table
  • Invoice Format
  • Overhead Group
  • Task
  • Expense Report
  • Vendor Invoice
  • In-house Expense Log
  • Client Invoice
  • Billing Review History (unavailable in ajeraCore)

  • Client Receipt
  • Deposit
  • Bank Statement
  • Journal Entry

Notes

Do one of the following:

  • In the field, change any notes about the category.
  • Click , change any notes about the category, and click OK.
  1. Click Save.

Any window that accepts attachments

You can also change attachment categories from the Attachments window, Attachments tab, or Add Attachments window.

These windows and tab are available in any window that accepts attachments.

  1. Click in the Category field in the Attachments window, Attachments tab, or Add Attachments window.
  1. Click the attachment category you want to change, and click Edit.
  2. Change the information as needed:
