State Quarterly inquiry

unavailable in ajeraCore unless you have the Payroll add-on

Use this inquiry to review state payroll taxes paid by the employer and employee for all employees in your company. This inquiry initially contains a section for each type of tax and then for each state where employees work.

Using the inquiry

From the > Reports menu, click Standard Inquiries > Payroll > State Quarterly.

To Do this

Change the cutoff date

Click the link for it, which appears under the inquiry title.

See data for a year other than the current year

Change the condition as follows:

  1. Click .
  2. Click the Conditions tab.
  3. In the Payroll Year condition, enter the year you want to report on in the field on the right.

Add additional columns required for your state

Add a predefined column being sure to change the Date Range on the General tab to Quarter-to-date so that the quarter-to-date amount appears in the column.

Inquiry conditions

The inquiry automatically contains a condition to show state quarterly taxes for the current payroll year. You can always add, change, or delete conditions on an inquiry.

Groups

This inquiry is grouped by Type and Description. You can always group or ungroup columns, as needed.
